Application of en Vogue Sculptured Nails
Preparation - Shape free edge of nail with file, push back cuticles and lightly buff nails, removing shine. Place forms under the free edge of the nail. There should be no space between the nail form and the free edge.
Step #1 - Apply thin layer of Connector (bonding gel) over natural nail, being sure not to get any on the cuticle. Cure in the light for two minutes; repeat on the other hand. Do not remove dispersion film (tacky surface on top).
Step #2 - Sculpt a nail extension with the French Modeling resin (white sculpting gel) onto the nail form, beginning at the free edge and extending to desired length. Cure in light for two minutes; repeat on other hand. Do not remove dispersion film.
Step #3 - Place a small amount (size of a pea) of Modeling Resin (clear sculpting gel) over the stress point of the nail. Push back lightly towards the cuticle, then move it forward towards the free edge, being sure to cover the sides. Level both sides by moving product down the center of the nail, finishing off at the free edge. If some product gets on the cuticle, remove it before placing the hand in the light. Cure in light for two minutes; repeat on other hand. Do not remove dispersion film. It ensures proper adhesion of the next layer of gel.
Step #4 - Apply another coat of clear Modeling Resin. Cure in light for two minutes.
Step #5 - Wipes off the dispersion film with Prep and Clean. File nails to desired shape. Dust off well with dust brush.
Step #6 - Wipe nails with cleaner. Apply generous layer of Sealer (high gloss finish) with light strokes. Remove any shine if it gets on the cuticles. Cure in light for two minutes; repeat on other hand. Wipe off dispersion film with cleaner.
If using tips, choose appropriate tips and glue on. Blend in base of tip and remove all shine. Follow directions, starting at step #1, excluding step #2.
The strong points of this product are excellent adhesion and NO lifting!
