En Vogue’s 3-step System offers you superior quality odour free resins that do not contain harmful chemicals. These light-curing resins that will not yellow or become brittle, promise to provide exceptional bonding (Connector), ease of control for building nails that provide incomparable flexibility and ease of filing (Modeling Resin), as well as lustrous, lasting shine (Sealer). En Vogue also offers Ultra White and Natural White resins, as well as Pink Sealer (Used with 3-step System or One Component System).

Nail Preparation

Please ensure that all procedures are completed thoroughly.

en Vogue does not utilize glue (except for tips) or high acid primers to bond our polymers to the natural nail. It is very important to remove foreign material, oils, and the natural shine from the surface of the nail.

The Modeling Resin and French Modeling components are not self-leveling, and it is simply a matter of practice to master this unique product.

Application processes are included for the following:

  • extension with nail forms
  • overlay on natural nails
  • extension with tips
  • refills
  • nail repair

Our product performs best with an ultra thin application as it is extremely flexible.

A dispersion film (soft, sticky coating) is created after every curing process.

Product Description

One Component

TIME IS MONEY! So speed up your fills and overlays by using En Vogue’s new One Component. This incredible, self-leveling resin enables busy nail techs to complete their services in a fraction of the time. This unique product offers you 3-in-1, as it has been developed with all the components of the 3-step system (Connector, Modeling Resin and Sealer). While the One Component is not designed or intended by the manufacturers to replace their 3-step System in building new nails, it will definitely enable you to complete your nail services in less time without sacrificing quality.

Important: Do not use a 'One Step' or one coat application. For maximum strength, flexibility and durability, apply one thin coat; cure, then a medium coat; cure, then one last coat to seal; cure.

How to use as an overlay:

  1. Apply a thin, even layer of One Component over prepared, cleansed natural nail, as well as blended tip (if extending). Cure 2 minutes in light unit.
  2. Apply a thicker 2nd coat, being careful to keep clear of sidewalls (product levels itself). Cure 2 minutes in light unit.
  3. Repeat with 3rd coat if necessary to provide even coverage and sufficient strength. Cure and wipe off dispersion film with Prep and Clean.
  4. If product is applied smooth enough, you will find no filing or sealer will be necessary. However, if you would like to perfect the finished shape, just file to refine product, buff smooth and clean with Prep and Clean. Seal by applying en Vogue’s clear or Pink Sealer, or by applying a final layer of One Component. Cure 2 minutes; wipe to clean.

How to use for fills:

  1. Prep nail, refining existing product and ensuring all lifting is removed. Cleanse nail with Prep and Clean.
  2. Apply 1 thin coat of One Component and cure.
  3. Apply 1 medium layer of One Component over existing product*. If 2 coats are necessary, proceed as above. Cure 2 minutes. Wipe dispersion film with Prep and Clean.

*If doing a French Fill, do not wipe dispersion film from French product before applying One Component.

Prep & Clean

Sanitizing agent used before tip or product application. Ensures particles, oils, and bacteria are not trapped between natural nail and product.

Connector

Specially designed resin structured for adhesion to the natural nail matrix without the need for harsh chemical primers that etch the nail.

Modeling Resin

Formulated from long chain oligomers, these resins provide flexibility and strength that create a durable, non-yellowing natural looking sculptured nail.

Sealer

A blend of resins providing a high gloss surface finish. Seals the sculptured nail, preventing fungi growth and polish staining.

French Modeling

White pigmented resin to extend the free edge, with support of a nail form, when sculpting nails. Can also be used on the free edge of a natural nail to give the "French" look.

Fastener

Adhesive used to adhere tips to the natural nail plate. Cure time is approximately 5-8 seconds.

Light unit

This light is a 2 minute self-timed curing light, includes 4 - 9watt UVA Bulbs. It will not promote tanning of the hand. Curing is complete after 2 minutes. If heat sensation occurs during curing, the hand should be removed until the heat dissipates (which should only take a few seconds) and then be reinserted. A few seconds removal will not affect the curing process.

As a professional nail technician, it is your responsibility to identify basic nail diseases and disorders. This enables you to consult with your client as to whether or not to permit application of an artificial nail system or refer your client to a physician. It is of utmost importance to check for any abnormalities before nails are applied. The first symptoms of an allergic reaction is inflammation, blistering or soreness of the cuticle. In the advanced stage, the nail may become very painful, turning brown and lifting from the nail bed. If a client appears to have an allergic reaction, remove product and refer client to their physician.

Allergic reactions are most common in products containing methacrylic acid (e.g. acrylic nails) or glue based (e.g. cyanacrylate) systems. In contrast, there is a very low probability of an allergic reaction when using en Vogue Modeling Resin Nail Systems.
