Application Instructions

Application With Nail Forms

Preparation

  1. Shape free edge of natural nails.
  2. Gently push back cuticles.
  3. Lightly buff nails, removing shine.
  4. Wipe nails with a Prep & Clean saturated lint free pad, to remove oils and dust and to disinfect.
  5. Place nail forms under free edge of natural nails. There should be no space between nail form and free edge. If nail form does not fit tightly against free edge, extra product may accumulate underneath the free edge.

Connector

  1. Wipe nails with a Prep & Clean saturated lint free pad.
  2. Dust off well with dust brush, drying nails completely.
  3. Apply thin layer of Connector over natural nails. If some product gets on the cuticle remove it before curing in the light.
  4. Cure in the light. Repeat on the other hand.
  5. DO NOT REMOVE the dispersion film, it ensures proper adhesion to Modeling Resin.

French Modeling

  1. Sculpt a nail extension with French Modeling onto the nail form beginning at the free edge and extending to the desired length. Cure in the light. Repeat on the other hand.

Modeling Resin

  1. Place a small amount of Modeling Resin on your sculpting brush. Place it gently, with NO pressure, over stress point of nail. Push back lightly towards cuticle then move it down towards the free edge on the left side and then again from the cuticle line back down the right side towards the free edge. Then level both sides by moving product down the centre of the nail, finishing off at the free edge. If some product gets on the cuticle remove it before curing in the light. Keep product thin around cuticle area and free edge.
  2. Pull thin layer of Modeling Resin over French Modeling for good support.
  3. Cure in the light. Repeat on the other hand.
  4. DO NOT REMOVE the dispersion film, it ensures proper adhesion to second coat of Modeling Resin.
  5. Remove nail forms.
  6. Apply another thin coat of Modeling. Cure in the light. Repeat on the other hand.
  7. Wipe off the dispersion film with a Prep & Clean saturated lint free pad. File nails to client's desired shape. 8. Dust off well with dust brush.

Sealer

  1. Wipe nails with a Prep & Clean saturated lint free pad.
  2. Dust off well with dust brush, drying nails completely.
  3. Apply thick layer of Sealer with light strokes. If some product gets on the cuticle remove it before curing in the light.
  4. Cure in the light. Repeat on the other hand.
  5. Wipe off dispersion film with cotton swab saturated with Prep & Clean. The nails now have a high gloss finish. The set of nails are complete.

Overlay On Natural Nails

Preparation

  1. Shape free edge of natural nails to client's preference e.g. oval or square.
  2. Gently push back cuticles.
  3. Lightly buff nails, removing shine.
  4. Wipe nails with a Prep & Clean saturated lint free pad, to remove oils and dust and to disinfect.

Connector

  1. Wipe nails with a Prep & Clean saturated lint free pad.
  2. Dust off well with dust brush, drying nails completely.
  3. Apply thin layer of Connector over natural nails. If some product gets on the cuticle remove it before curing in the light.
  4. Cure in the light. Repeat on the other hand.
  5. DO NOT REMOVE the dispersion film, it ensures proper adhesion to Modeling Resin.

Modeling Resin

  1. Place a small amount of Modeling Resin on your sculpting brush. Place it gently, with NO pressure, over stress point of nail. Sealer

  1. Wipe nails with a Prep & Clean saturated lint free pad.
  2. Dust off well with dust brush, drying nails completely.
  3. Apply thick layer of Sealer with light strokes. If some product gets on the cuticle remove it before curing in the light.
  4. Cure in the light. Repeat on the other hand.
  5. Wipe off dispersion film with cotton swab saturated with Prep & Clean. The nails now have a high gloss finish. The set of nails are complete.

Application With Tips

The proper tip selection is of utmost importance for the durability of the nail you want to create. Therefore, be very particular with every application.

Preparation

  1. Shorten nails as much as possible.
  2. Gently push back cuticles.
  3. Lightly buff nails, removing shine.
  4. Wipe nails with a Prep & Clean saturated lint free pad, to remove oils and dust and to disinfect.
  5. Choose appropriate tips (i.e. flat or arched) and glue on. To shorten tips clip and file to client's desired length and shape. Blend in base of tip and remove all shine.

Connector

  1. Wipe nails with a Prep & Clean saturated lint free pad.
  2. Dust off well with dust brush, drying nails completely.
  3. Apply thin layer of Connector over natural nails and tips. If some product gets on the cuticle remove it before curing in the light.
  4. Cure in the light. Repeat on the other hand.
  5. DO NOT REMOVE the dispersion film, it ensures proper adhesion to Modeling Resin.

Modeling Resin

  1. Place a small amount of Modeling Resin on your sculpting brush. Place it gently, with NO pressure, over stress point of nail.   7. Dust off well with dust brush.

Sealer

  2. Dust off well with dust brush, drying nails completely.
  3. Apply thick layer of Sealer with light strokes. If some product gets on the cuticle remove it before curing in the light.

Application For Refills

A refill is recommended every 3-6 weeks, depending on a client's nail growth rate and how aggressive a client may be with their nails. A maintenance consultation with your client is preferred to ensure a client is educated on the proper care of their en Vogue nails.

  3. Reshape entire nail (curve and length).
  4. Carefully file away any loose product as lifting can occur.
  5. Wipe nails with a Prep & Clean saturated lint free pad, to remove oils and dust and to disinfect.

Connector

  1. Wipe nails with a Prep & Clean saturated lint free pad.
  2. Dust off well with dust brush, drying nails completely.
  3. Apply thin layer of Connector over whole nail. If some product gets on the cuticle remove it before curing in the light.
  4. Cure in the light. Repeat on the other hand.
  5. DO NOT REMOVE the dispersion film, it ensures proper adhesion to Modeling Resin.

Modeling Resin

  1. Place a small amount of Modeling Resin on your sculpting brush. Place it gently, with NO pressure, over stress point of nail. Push back lightly towards cuticle then move it down towards the free edge on the left side and then again from the cuticle line back down the right side towards the free edge. Then level both sides by moving product down the centre of the nail, finishing off at the free edge. If some product gets on the cuticle remove it before curing in the light.   4. Apply another thin coat of Modeling Resin. Pull Modeling Resin around free edge to seal the nails.
  5. Cure in the light. Repeat on the other hand.
  6. Wipe off the dispersion film with a Prep & Clean saturated lint free pad. File nails to client's desired shape.
  7. Dust off well with dust brush.

Sealer

  1. Wipe nails with a Prep & Clean saturated lint free pad.
  2. Dust off well with dust brush, drying nails completely.
  3. Apply thick layer of Sealer with light strokes. If some product gets on the cuticle remove it before curing in the light.
  4. Cure in the light. Repeat on the other hand.
  5. Wipe off dispersion film with cotton swab saturated with Prep & Clean. The nails now have a high gloss finish. The set of nails are complete.

Application For Repair

When a repair is necessary carefully examine nail for severe nail bed damage. If the nail bed damage is not severe a repair can be completed.

Preparation

  1. Push back cuticle.
  2. Buff nail (remove shine).
  3. Clip and gently file the broken area.
  4. Reshape entire nail (curve and length).
  5. Carefully file away any loose product as lifting can occur.

Connector

  1. Wipe nails with a Prep & Clean saturated lint free pad.
  2. Apply thin layer of Connector over broken area, place fiberglass or silk gauze over Connector, apply another thin layer of Connector. If some product gets on the cuticle remove it before curing in the light.
  3. Cure in the light.
  4. DO NOT REMOVE the dispersion film, it ensures proper adhesion to Modeling Resin.

Modeling Resin

  1. Place a small amount of Modeling Resin on your sculpting brush. Place it gently, with NO pressure, over stress point of nail. Push back lightly towards cuticle then move it down towards the free edge on the left side and then again from the cuticle line back down the right side towards the free edge. Then level both sides by moving product down the centre of the nail, finishing off at the free edge. If some product gets on the cuticle remove it before curing in the light. Pull Modeling Resin gently forward to complete coverage of broken area.
  2. Cure in the light.
  3. Apply another thin coat of Modeling Resin. Pull Modeling Resin around free edge to seal the nail.
  4. Cure in the light.
  5. Wipe off the dispersion film with a Prep & Clean saturated lint free pad. File nail to proper shape (i.e. C-curve, even arch, thin around cuticle and free edge).
  6. Dust off well with dust brush.

Sealer

  1. Wipe nails with a Prep & Clean saturated lint free pad.
  2. Dust off well with dust brush, drying nail completely.
  3. Apply thick layer of Sealer with light strokes. If some product gets on the cuticle remove it before curing in the light.
  4. Cure in the light.
  5. Wipe off dispersion film with cotton swab saturated with Prep & Clean. The nail now has a high gloss finish. The nail is complete.
